We talked to Creator & Domain Investor Sl Munna, who is giving some insights in his every day life as a domainer.

 Where do you come from? 

I come from Bangladesh.

For how long have you been trading domains? 

For 3 years.

Who inspired you to get started with it? 

Basically I wanted to boost my income and was searching for new opportunities. After researching I decided that the domain name industry will be the choice for me. The business is totally self controled, not depending on others supply or sources. 

What motivates you to be involved in this sector? 

It’s a great opportunity to grow by learning and gathering knowledge in different sectors. Of course, it’s also a source of great revenue, just learn and play with words related to modern and upcoming technologies and be patient, then you get good results. 

How much of your time do you dedicate to domaining? 

Two hours daily, when I am free from my regular job. Even when I am using the public transport. 

How many domains do you hold? 

More than 50. 

What is your favorite TLD? 

Undoubtedly .com. People around the world are used to .com as domain extension. It’s fully established. Other TLDs I like: .net, .org, .xyz, .io, .co, .info. I have several .net, .xyz. and .io domains. 

How much of your portfolio is Web2 domains, how much blockchain domains? 

I improve my portfolio day by day, with a big interest in future technology; like Web3, NFT, fintech and blockchain. 

What is your opinion about NFT domains? 

Blockchain technology will be more popular day by day and people are getting involved with NFT domains for their great unique benefits. 

Do you think all crypto domains can have a practical use? 

It’s a new concept but crypto domains have a lot of believers and by time we will see if they all really have a practical use or not. 

Which advice would you give to people who have just started investing in domains? 

I think it’s a good investment, but do study enough and stay patient while taking investment decisions.
